Prison Reentry Ministry Home Application

  • This application is primarily for male inmates in a Michigan Correctional Facility.

  • An acknowledgment letter will be sent when the application is received.  When LWMN is notified of a definite parole hearing date, the application will go to the Ministry Home Committee for review.  If your application is declined, your will receive a letter.  If your application is accepted, a letter will be written to the Parole Board on your behalf indicating you have a place to live, dependent upon availability, at the time of your parole.  A copy of that letter will be mailed to you.  It is your responsibility to inform LWMN the outcome of the hearing and your definite release date.  When this information is received an acceptance letter, indicating an exact address you parole to, will be mailed to your current address.

  • A Home Policy, that exemplifies healthy living habits and relationships in the home, will accompany the final acceptance letter with your new address.  This Policy must be agreed upon and signed prior to residency.

  • Ministry Home residents stay approximately 6-18 months, determined by individualized circumstances.
